Fund Raising

As well as the monthly Club swimming fees, we try to raise additional funds, by various methods, to subsidise activities enjoyed by the swimmers; examples include:

trips to 50m pools to give the swimmers experience in swimming 'long course' distances

overseas trips for a week of intensive training

a non-swimming week-end of outdoor adventure at High Borrans

Sweet Stall

This generates income of around £1000 per year

Club Shop

Although each item sold only generates a small margin of profit for the Club, the volume of goods we sell each year provides a significant contribution. A list of items we stock is available, along with an on-line order form if you don't manage to catch the sales at the pool -

Lottery Draw

We have recently started a Club lottery that provides 3 monthly cash prizes - the amounts are dependent upon the number of entrants each month. Draw numbers cost £1 per month and you can download an entry form:

On-line Shopping

We have set up a website whereby any purchase made on-line from a variety of retailsers, including many high street chains, generates a percentage contribution to the Club. Check out the details to see if you can raise money next time you want to buy an item on-line.
