TYNEMOUTH swimmers came home with a clutch of medals from the Blyth Summer Sprint, with many others who didn't manage to land a medal still managing to record some nice pbs.

In the nine years age group, Mitchel McDermott won three golds and a silver, Joey Lau won two golds, a silver and a bronze, Samuel Lain won a gold, silver and two bronzes, and Heidi Carr won a gold and a bronze.

The 10 years age group saw Owen Brown win two golds and a silver, Ruby Dann won two golds, Beth Richardson won a gold, silver and bronze, Ona Gallagher won one gold, Jai Diddee won two silvers and two bronzes, Grace Ferguson won a silver and two bronzes, Beth Larkin, Lois Palmer and Isaac Stokes each won one silver, and Anna Johnson won two bronzes.

There were more medals in the 11 years age group, Thomas Connell winning a gold, three silvers and a bronze, Molly-Rosanna Young a gold and a bronze, and Megan Comrie a bronze, while among the 12-year-olds, Matt Stewart won no less than five golds, Rosie Smith won a silver and two bronzes, and Amy Brown won a bronze.

In the 13 years age group, Myles Harding won three golds, Lottie Christopher won two golds and two silvers, Douglas Gauld and Charlotte Payton both won a gold and two silvers, Lauren Comrie won a gold and three bronzes, Oliver Cuthbert won two bronzes, while Niamh Nicholson and Matthew Wilson both won a bronze.

As for the 14-year-olds, Evie Hartridge won a gold and four silvers, Dhritiman Sarma won a silver and bronze, and Ethan Bewick won a bronze, while in the 15 years age group, Milly Bradley won two golds, a silver and two bronzes, and Oliver Breen won a silver.
