THERE was another trip south of the river for Tynemouth ASC swimmers, and another impressive haul of medals, pbs and performances to be proud of.
Gabriel Rennison-Rae led the way for the nine-year-olds with no fewer than five gold medals plus a silver and bronze, Betsy Blaney chipped in with four golds, a silver and three bronzes, while Sebastian French bagged two golds, Iris Moir a gold and two silvers, Willow Anderson a gold and a bronze, and Oscar North a silver.
In the 10 years age group, Mason Sainthouse collected three golds plus a silver and bronze, Anja Schrocksnadel completed the full set with a gold, silver and bronze, Samuel Brown won a gold and Hannah Fraser a bronze.
For the 11-year-olds, Abby Coventry also won three golds and a silver, Hari Diddee took home pairs of golds, silvers and bronzes, Hannah Gray secured a gold, three silvers and three bronzes, Thomas Northey took a gold, three silvers and a bronze, Sophia Anderson a hat-trick of bronzes, and there was a bronze apiece for Beatrice Hawkins, Hannah Mather and Francesca Moir.
Katy Otterson led the way for the 12-year-olds with three golds and a silver, Sophie Robson secured a gold, two silvers and three bronzes, Annabel Cowens two silvers and two bronzes, and James Fraser a silver and bronze.
As for the 13-year-olds, Kajetan Guzikiewicz was again in fine form with three golds, four silvers and a bronze, Aidan Turner and Beth Richardson both bagged golden hat-tricks, Ruby Dann took two golds, a silver and bronze, Olivia Willis a gold, two silvers and two bronzes, Adam Miekle won the set of gold, silver and bronze medals, Anna Johnson won a gold and bronze, Annie Harrison a silver and two bronzes, Olivia Northey a silver and bronze, Benjamin Davies a silver and Ethan Rutter three bronzes.
In the 14 and over category, Isobel Munnoch (14) also secured a hat-trick of golds plus a pair of silvers to boot, James Hayes (17) took home a gold and silver, Amy Heron (18) a gold, Ben Hartridge (16) four silvers, Jai Diddee (14) a silver, Jack Kelso (15) two bronzes while Matthew Chandler (15) and Molly Young (14) both won a bronze apiece.
