TYNEMOUTH swimmers were once again in scarily good form, this time at the Middlesbrough Halloween Gala where they secured a monster haul of medals and PBs after another road trip South to the Neptune Centre.

Harry Ripley maintained his great start to the season with another couple of gold medals in the nine years age group, finishing on top in both the 50m freestyle and 200m breaststroke.

In the 10 years age group, Hannah Gray took three gold medals in the 50m backstroke, 200m free and 200IM, two silvers in the 50m breast and 100m butterfly, plus a bronze in the 50m free.

Sophia Anderson (10) also took three golds, this time in the 50m free, 50m fly and 100m fly, plus a silver in the 100m breast, while Hari Diddee (10) took bronze in the 50m breast.

Among the 11 year olds, Annabel Cowens took no less than four gold medals in the 50m and 200m breast, 100m free and 100IM, plus three silvers in the 50m back, 50m free and 100m breast.

Sophie Robson (11) bagged two golds in the 50m and 100m back, plus a silver in the 50m breast and bronze in the 50m free, while Kathryn Otterson (11) also took two golds in the 100m breast and 200m free plus a bronze in the 50m fly, Nathan Huggan (11) won silver in the 50m breast, and Freya Beach took bronze in the 200m free.

Olivia Willis was in fine form in the 12 years age group, taking home five golds, including a hat-trick in the 50m, 100m and 200m back and coming out on top in the 100m fly and 200m fly, plus she secured a silver 50m fly.

Aidan Turner (12) landed himself four gold medals in the 100m back, 400m free, 100IM and 200IM, while Annie Harrison (12) bagged three golds in the 100m free, 100IM and 200IM, a silver in the 200m free plus two bronzes in the 50m breast and 50m back,

Daniel Payton (12) secured two golds in the 200m back and 200m free, a silver in the 50m free plus a bronze in the 50m fly. Elsewhere, Anna Johnson (12) won gold in the 200m breast, silver in the 100m breast and bronze in the 50m free and 50m fly, Olivia Northey (12) took two silvers in the 50m breast and 100m free.

In the 13 years age group, Ruby Dann grabbed four golds with superb swims in the 50m and 200m free, and the 50m and 100m fly, while Jamie Beach (13) won gold in the 200m fly, Niamh Savory (13) took gold in the 400IM, Beth Richardson won silver in the 100m breast and bronze in the 200m breast, Jai Diddee (13) won silver in the 50m back, and Molly-Rosanna Young three bronze medals in the 400m free, 200IM and 200m back, and Thomas Connell won a bronze in the 400m free.

For the 14-year-olds, George Turner won four golds in the 400m free, 100IM, 200IM and 100m back, while Katie Coventry (14) secured three golds in the 50m, 100m and 200m breast plus a silver in the 200IM.

Calum Robson won no less than seven golds in the 15 years age group, taking top spot in the 50m, 100m and 200m free, the 50m, 100m and 200m back plus 50m fly. Charlotte Payton (15) meanwhile took a bronze in the 400m free.

In the 16 years and over category, Jack Ashurst (16) won gold in the 200m fly, Katie Stobbs (16) won a silver in the 50m breast and two bronzes in the 100m and 200m breast, Myles Harding (16) won a silver in the 200m free, and Amy Heron (17) won a silver in the 50m back.
