THE second weekend of the N&D Championships at Sunderland Aquatic Centre saw more medals, club records and long-course PBs for Tynemouth ASC swimmers.

It was another golden weekend for several swimmers, Niamh Savory (12) securing six gold medals along with two bronzes, plus she set two new club records in the 1500 free and 50 back, while Lucy Hedley (16) took home another two gold medals and a silver, plus recorded four new club records in the 50 free, 200 free, 800 free and 1500 free.

Also striking gold were Ella Took (16) who won the 400IM, plus she secured a silver and bronze, while Jamie Beach (12) won gold in the 200 fly.

There was a silver lining for Erin Jones (11) in finishing second in the 100 breast, as she set a new club record for that event; Erin also won two more silvers, and in the same age group Owen Brown won one silver.

Another silver medal apiece went home with Katie Coventry (13), Emily Hedley (14) who also won a bronze, Arianna Stokes (14) and Katie Stobbs (15), the latter also securing another bronze.

There was a bronze medal each for Ona Gallagher (11), Oscar Makepeace (11), Jasper Hall (12), Jack Kelso (13), Eva Clapperton (14), Lauren Heppell (14), Maddie Wilson (14), Neave Abbey (16) and Leonie Aldridge (17).

Other swimmers flying the flag for Tynemouth over the weekend were Katie Adams (13), Jack Ashurst (16), Luke Baker (17), Kathryn Bell (15), Matthew Chandler (14), Thomas Connell (13), Ruby Dann (12), Myles Harding (15), Max Hartis (13), Benjamyn Hartridge (14), James Hayes (16), Amy Heron (16), Bethany Heron (14), Emily Jackson (11), Joey Lau (11), Isobel Munnoch (13), Charlotte Payton (15), Daniel Payton (11), Ava Perkins (13), Erin Purdy (18), Calum Robson (14), Eve Rudd (14), George Watson (14) and Molly-Rosanna Young (12).
