New Head Coach Appointment

We are delighted to announce the appointment of Steven Dickinson as the new Head Coach of Tynemouth ASC. TASC have been very fortunate to have a Level 3 coach of the calibre of Steven already on our team. Steven's qualifications and experience, combined with the determination and leadership he has shown in recent weeks, make him an excellent choice to take TASC on to the next chapter of the club's proud history.
Steven has had a lifetime passion for swimming, having competed at National Level before making the transition to coaching back in 2002. Before joining TASC he worked as Head Coach at Ashington Swimming Club for 4 years, where he coached age group and youth swimmers up to National level.
As has been witnessed during his time at Tynemouth, Steven always actively seeks to improve his coaching skills and knowledge. Over recent years he has acted as a Northumberland and Durham Performance Program Assistant Coach, Lead Coach for the Northumberland Hub, as well as being a coach on Northumberland and Durham and North East Regional Talent Camps.
We are sure you will all join us in supporting Steven in his new role in the club as we continue our phased return to the water. Good luck Steven.
