Scottish Summer Meet

TYNEMOUTH ASC swimmers headed North across the Border for the Scottish Summer Meet at the Royal Commonwealth Pool in Edinburgh, and came home laden with gold, silver and bronze.
Katie Coventry (12) won not one but two gold medals in the 12-13 age group, winning both the 100 breast and 200 breast and setting new pbs in the process. She also secured a bronze medal in the 50 breast with another pb.
In the same age group, Arianna Stokes (13) took two silver medals in the 400 free and 50 free, setting a new club record of 28.39 in the latter.
Amy Heron meanwhile, won a silver medal in the 15-year-olds age group, also setting a new pb in the 50 back.
