TYNEMOUTH ASC swimmers obviously felt right at home when the club hosted its Spring Gala, as no less than 58 of them won medals with the club securing a grand total of 71 golds, 60 silvers and 56 bronze medals over the three-day weekend.

Gabriel Rennison-Rae led the way in the nine years age group, winning a superb five gold medals plus a silver and bronze; Millie Torre won two golds, three silvers and a bronze, Oscar North won two golds and a bronze, Iris Moir won two golds, Willow Anderson won a gold and silver, Sophie Harrison won a gold, Samuel Brown won three silvers and two bronzes, Anja Schrocksnadel won two silvers and two bronzes, and Hannah Fraser won a silver and three bronzes.

In the 10 years age group, Thomas Northey grabbed a hat-trick of gold medals plus a couple of silvers, Emily Farnsworth secured two golds and a bronze, Francesca Moir and Noah McCulloch both bagged themselves a silver and bronze, while Jennifer Garside took home a pair of bronze medals.

Abby Coventry secured five gold medals in the 11 years age group, Annabel Cowens won a gold and three bronzes, Hannah Gray won three silvers and a bronze, Sophia Anderson and Sophie Robson both took a silver and a bronze apiece, Nathan Huggan won a silver, Hari Diddee won a pair of bronzes and James Fraser won a bronze.

The 12 years age group saw Daniel Payton take home five golds and a bronze, Jinghan Zeng secured three golds a silver and two bronzes, Adam Miekle won two golds and three silvers, Annie Harrison won a gold, three silvers and two bronzes, Aidan Turner and Katy Otterson each won one gold, Olivia Northey won three bronzes while Jonathan Ward won one bronze.

Molly-Rosanna Young took no less than six golds and a silver in the 13 years age group, Jai Diddee grabbed four golds and a silver, Kajetan Guzikiewicz won three golds and three silvers, Olivia Willis won three golds, two silvers and a bronze, Beth Richardson won two golds and three silvers, Ruby Dan took a couple of golds, Anna Johnson secured a gold, silver and two bronzes, while Isabel Cuthbert and Megan Comrie both won a silver and bronze, Ethan Rutter won four bronzes and Benjamin Davies won a bronze.

There were more medals in the 14 years and over category. Benjamyn Hartridge (15) won three golds and two silvers, Katie Stobbs (17) won three golds, Jack Kelso (15) secured two golds and a silver, Toby Ross (14) won a gold, silver and two bronzes, Charlotte Payton (16) won a gold, silver and bronze, Max Hartis (14) won a gold and a silver, George Turner (14) and Sofia Krasauska (18) both won a gold, Thomas Connell (14) and Isobel Munnoch (14) both won three silvers and a bronze, Roman Viereckl (16) won two silvers, Joseph Chandler (15) and Matt Stewart (15) both won a silver and two bronzes, Katie Coventry (14) and Katie Adams (14) both won a silver and bronze, while Rosa Phillips (14) and Matthew Chandler (14) both won a bronze apiece.
